Report: Chelsea agree £50m deal for Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell

A report claims that Chelsea will complete the signing of Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell in the next three days.

Chelsea are on the verge of completing the signing of left-back Ben Chilwell from Leicester City in a £50m deal, according to a report.

Having already brought in Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of next season, the Blues are now looking to add Chilwell and Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz to their squad.

Following weeks of negotiations with Leicester, The Telegraph claims that Chelsea have reached an agreement with their Premier League rivals for Chilwell's signature.

The 23-year-old, who is currently nursing a heel injury that could see him miss the start of 2020-21, is expected to officially join in the next three days.

England international Chilwell is said to have been handed a five-year deal by Chelsea.

Meanwhile, a separate report suggests that the £90m signing of Havertz may also be finalised in the coming days.
