Stefan Savic hopes for permanent Mohamed Salah deal at Fiorentina

Stefan Savic hopes that Mohamed Salah will be offered a permanent deal at Fiorentina from Chelsea after scoring four goals in five games.

Fiorentina defender Stefan Savic is hopeful that Mohamed Salah will be handed a permanent contract at the Serie A club when his loan deal from Chelsea expires in the summer.

Since his arrival in January, Salah has scored four goals in five games, the latest of which came during Fiorentina's 1-0 win over Inter Milan on Sunday.

"I knew Salah was a very good player, but I didn't know he was that good," Savic told Corriere dello Sport.

"When Salah enters the pitch it looks like he is entering a way, his legs never stop moving, and runs until the last inch of the pitch. He is also a bit lucky, because he is always waiting for the ball at the right time.

"He is a very shy person but we welcomed him with great enthusiasm and I hope that he stays with us."

Salah's move to the Italian club was sanctioned by Chelsea after he failed to cement a regular starting place in the first team.
