Columbus Crew have beaten DC United 2-1 at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in the MLS this evening.

Goals from Josh Williams and Ben Speas were enough for the visitors to take the points despite Rafael's goal for United.

Williams gave Robert Warzycha's side the lead after quarter of an hour when he headed home from Tyson Wahl's free-kick.

Rafael equalised on 22 minutes after hitting a shot from distance that beat Crew stopper Andy Gruenebaum.

However, Speas gave his side the lead on the hour mark when he followed in a rebounded shot and converted from close range.

The defeat ended DC's 19-game unbeaten streak at home.
