Thomas Ince eager to seize Crystal Palace chance by copying Wilfried Zaha

Thomas Ince says that he wants to "excite" the Crystal Palace fans, and describes his loan move to Selhurst Park as "fantastic".

Thomas Ince has revealed that he wants to "excite" the Crystal Palace fans by following in the footsteps of former Selhurst Park favourite Wilfried Zaha.

The midfielder, who joined Palace on loan on transfer deadline day, says that he has been made to feel "really welcome" at the club and wants to repay that kindness by producing on the pitch.

However, Ince also admits that he might find it hard to get into the first team because of the talent in the Eagles' squad.

"The players, staff and the whole club have made me really welcome at the club.I know Wilf [Zaha] has been a huge success here. I just want to put in the performances on the pitch and excite the fans," Ince is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

"For me to come to Palace and play in the Premier League is fantastic, even if it's only a four month loan period. I want to try and work hard and get into the team because there is a great bunch of lads with huge talent.

"I will have to work twice as hard to get into the team."

Palace are 17th in the Premier League.
