Jack Hunt not thinking about drama at Crystal Palace

Jack Hunt is focussed on life at Nottingham Forest and ignoring the drama at his parent club Crystal Palace.

Jack Hunt has revealed that he has been ignoring events at Crystal Palace and concentrating only on Nottingham Forest.

Since the defender left his parent club to join Forest on loan, the Eagles have seen Tony Pulis walk out days before their season opener, before being replaced by former manager Neil Warnock.

Hunt, who will be a Forest player until December 31, says that his priority is to recover from his injury woes and help the Reds in their push for the Premier League.

"I am distanced from it, although I do speak to the lads there. I am probably not up to speed on what has happened," Hunt is quoted as saying by the Nottingham Post. "It does not change my mentality here. I am here until December 31 and I will work hard for Forest.

"I know I can still improve a lot myself. I am getting fitter and stronger with every game and I just want to improve as much as I can. Whatever happens off the back of that in the future will happen. All I can focus on is being the best I can be."

"Obviously I had a bad injury last season, but I am feeling no pain now and I feel as though I am getting back to my best," he said. I am happy to be doing that at Forest. Getting minutes on the pitch and doing well as a team, there is nothing better to make you feel at home."

Forest travel to Hillsborough for an early kickoff in the Championship today, as two of the three remaining unbeaten sides in the division go head to head.
