Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock moving forward with January plans

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock reveals that he is already making moves in relation to adding to his squad in January after they fell to 19th in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has revealed that he is already making moves in relation to adding to his squad in the January transfer window.

The Eagles saw their winless Premier League run stretched to six games with a 3-1 home defeat to Southampton which saw them drop to 19th in the table.

Warnock feels that reinforcements are needed in the New Year and is particularly focused on bringing in a forward to bolster his goal-shy strike force.

"We're not scoring enough goals. We're looking at a lot of players and we have made some offers," he told reporters.

"It is just about trying to get those deals over the line. We missed Marouane Chamakh and hopefully we can get a couple of players in to give us more options."

Forwards Fraizer Campbell, Dwight Gayle, Marouane Chamakh, Kevin Doyle and Glenn Murray have scored six goals in 45 appearances between them for Palace this season.
