Half-Time Report: Chris Brown's early goal separates Doncaster Rovers, Wigan Athletic

Chris Brown's early goal currently separates Doncaster Rovers and Wigan Athletic at the break.

Doncaster Rovers have gone into half time a goal ahead against Wigan Athletic thanks to an early Chris Brown goal.

Paul Keegan's cross was met well by Brown, who was unmarked in the box to fire the home side ahead.

Rovers used the goal to build momentum and minutes later James Coppinger's cross was almost converted by James Husband as Ali Al-Habsi tipped it behind for a corner.

Nicky Maynard, who is making his Wigan debut, came close to drawing the side level with his shot on the turn, but Doncaster will feel that they deserve their half-time advantage.
