Preview: Doncaster Rovers vs. Barnsley

Sports Mole previews the Championship encounter between Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley.

Doncaster Rovers host Barnsley hoping that they can secure three points to move away from the relegation zone in the Championship.

Paul Dickov's side sit five points clear of Charlton Athletic in the standings, but teams below them, including Barnsley, have games in hand on them as they fight to avoid dropping into League One.

Winger David Cotterill could return to the starting lineup with Billy Sharp missing the game through suspension.

A run of just one win in 10 games has seen Barnsley fall to 23rd position, and manager Danny Wilson will be eager for the Tykes to take the opportunity to reduce the deficit to their hosts.

Wilson could welcome back Emmanuel Frimpong, who is available for selection after a one-match ban.
