Team News: Sam Johnstone in goal for Doncaster Rovers

Doncaster Rovers start with new signing Sam Johnstone in goal for their Championship clash with Middlesbrough.

Deadline-day signing Sam Johnstone will start in goal in place of Ross Turnbull as Doncaster Rovers take on Middlesbrough at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Manager Paul Dickov has decided to continue with Billy Sharp in attack, but Harry Forrester is again absent with an ankle injury.

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka must do without Jonathan Woodgate, who failed to shake off a thigh problem that kept him out of Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Wigan.

Meanwhile, defender Rhys Williams is likely to be out of action for the rest of the season after rupturing his Achilles tendon in midweek and the Australian international is set to have surgery on his ankle.

Doncaster, who start the game just outside the Championship relegation zone, have won their last two games at the Keepmoat, but face a Boro side who have lost just once in their last eight league outings.

Doncaster Rovers: Johnstone, Husband, Keegan, Duffy, Brown, Sharp, Khumalo, Tamas, Wellens, Meite, Coppinger

Middlesbrough: Given, Friend, Butterfield, Leadbitter, Ledesma, Carayol, Gibson, Main, Chalobah, Omeruo, Ayala
