A second-half fightback from Dundee has seen them come from a goal behind to beat St Mirren 2-1 on Wednesday evening.
The contest started openly, with both sides threatening in attack but a lack of composure in important areas meant chances were hard to come by at Dens Park.
However, the deadlock was broken in the 20th minute when Dougie Imrie broke free of the Dundee defence before slotting the ball past Rab Douglas.
The hosts had opportunities to level the scores before the break, with Gary Harkins firing wide of the target from just outside the box.
A moment of magic from John Baird changed the game in the second half as the forward shrugged off two challenges before firing in to level the scores.
Dundee secured the victory 12 minutes from time when Jim McAlister found space in the box to head home the winner.
