England manager Gareth Southgate has hinted that Jordan Pickford will be first-choice goalkeeper at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
The Everton shot-stopper has been handed the number one shirt for the tournament, which gets underway on June 14.
Pickford moved to the top of the rankings after Joe Hart was left out of the squad following a difficult loan spell at West Ham United from Manchester City last season.
Judging by the squad list, which was released by the Football Association on Monday, it seems that Pickford will be selected ahead of Jack Butland and Nick Pope.
In addition, despite his lack of regular game time at Tottenham Hotspur last season, Danny Rose looks to be first-choice left-back after he was handed the number three shirt ahead of Ashley Young.
Harry Maguire and John Stones have been issued with the number six and number five shirts respectively, which suggests that the two will partner up in defence.
