Everton defender Phil Neville claims that the pressure is on Sunderland when the teams meet in their FA Cup quarter-final replay.

Everton defender Phil Neville has stated that the pressure is on Sunderland in their FA Cup quarter-final replay.

The Toffees were held to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park on Saturday, and the Everton skipper has placed the pressure firmly on Martin O'Neill's side ahead of the replay at the Stadium of Light.

"We are neck and neck in the league now, there is not much to choose between us. You speak to Sunderland, they will feel going back to their place they will be favourites. They probably are, but they will be wary of us. The pressure swings to them now," Neville told Sky Sports News.

The 35-year-old has made 28 appearances for the club this season.
