Everton's Romelu Lukaku reiterates desire to play Champions League football

Romelu Lukaku reiterates a desire to play in the Champions League, but insists that he is "happy" at Everton.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has reiterated that he wants to play Champions League football, which has sparked rumours that he is considering leaving the Merseyside club.

The Belgian forward signed for the Toffees from Chelsea last summer for a reported £28m fee, but he has suggested that he wants to move on, despite being "happy" at Goodison Park.

"At this moment I am at Everton," Lukaku told Sky Sports News. "I have a contract there and I am happy, but you never know in football.

"Every player wants to play in the Champions League. Every player wants to play at the highest level. You have to be ambitious in life."

Roberto Martinez's Everton side finished 11th in the Premier League last season, 15 points adrift of sixth place.
