Phil Neville admits that Everton still have aspirations of qualifying for Europe this season.

Phil Neville has claimed that Everton can qualify for Europe this season following a recent run of good form.

The Merseyside club started the campaign terribly but David Moyes's side have steadily climbed up the league table.

Neville said: "It's a great start to the year for us and hopefully now we can kick on and challenge for a European place because that's where we want to be."

The former Manchester United player admitted their form at Goodison Park could be key to any European hopes.

"If we have any aspirations of climbing up the league and getting in that European space we need to start winning our home matches because our home form hasn't been good enough," hee added.

Everton are 11th in the Premier League with 24 points from 18 games.
