Sports Mole previews the Premier League showdown between Reading and Everton.

Struggling Reading host high-flying Everton on Saturday hoping to secure three points and lift themselves out of the bottom three.

Brian McDermott's side are likely to be without winger Jimmy Kebe, who is struggling with a tight groin.

Danny Guthrie, Jem Karacan and Alex McCarthy are also among the Royals' absentees as they go on the hunt for their first Premier League win of the campaign.

Everton's Kevin Mirallas is likely to be passed unfit after hobbling off during last weekend's 2-1 victory over Sunderland, but Darron Gibson and Steven Naismith could be in line for a return to the starting XI.

Recent form:

Reading: DLDLDD

Everton: WDDDDW

Possible lineups:

Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Shorey, Gorkss, Morrison, Leigertwood, Tabb, McCleary, McAnuff, Hunt, Roberts

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Heitinga, Jagielka, Naismith, Pienaar, Osman, Neville, Fellaini, Jelavic

Sports Mole says: 1-2
