David Moyes shows his intent to take FA Cup fifth-round opponents Oldham seriously by naming a full-strength side for their Boundary Park clash.

David Moyes has resisted the temptation to rest key players for Everton's FA Cup fifth-round trip to Oldham Athletic.

Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini are both included in a Toffees side which shows just two changes from the starting XI which lost at Manchester United.

Experienced defender Sylvain Distin returns in place of Jonny Heitinga at centre-back, while Nikica Jelavic comes in for Kevin Mirallas.

Former Everton midfielder Jose Baxter is included for Oldham against his boyhood club, but there is no start for Matt Smith, who netted twice when the League One outfit knocked out Liverpool in the last round.

Smith has been struggling with injury, but is fit enough to be named on the bench for the Boundary Park clash.

On-loan strike duo Lee Barnard and Chris Iwelumo are selected instead of Smith as Oldham go in search of another upset against Merseyside opposition.

Everton: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Osman, Fellaini, Gibson, Pienaar; Anichebe, Jelavic

Oldham: Bouzanis; Brown, Grounds, Tarkowski, Yves M'voto; Croft, Wesolowski, Baxter, Obita; Iwelumo, Barnard
