Everton manager Roberto Martinez to dip into January transfer market

Everton manager Roberto Martinez confirms that he will try to sign some new players in the January transfer window.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he will try to sign new players in the January transfer window.

The Spaniard has claimed that the Merseyside outfit will need to bring in cover for injured forward Arouna Kone and midfielder Darron Gibson.

"We are going to use the window in January to try and help the team because we lost two players for the long term," Martinez said in a press conference.

The Toffees are currently fifth in the Premier League table after 14 games.
