Martin Jol questions loyalty of Mark Hughes

Fulham boss Martin Jol questions the loyalty of recently appointed QPR manager Mark Hughes.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has questioned the loyalty of new Queen Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes, insisting that the Welshman never stays more than two years at a club.

Former Cottagers boss Hughes left the club last summer, stating that Fulham were not ambitious enough to match his own personal goals.

Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed responded to the claims with disapproval, and now boss Jol has made his views on the subject known.

"It is not always about money if you are talking about ambition. We are ambitious, but last time he was here he said maybe Fulham are not," Jol told the Daily Mail.

"[Hughes] is very brave to say that. If you look at all the clubs he has managed, it has been for two years – at the most," said Jol when questioned on Hughes's claim that he is at QPR for the long haul.

Fulham could move into the top half of the table with victory over Blackburn on Saturday afternoon.
