Fulham have applied to the Premier League for permission to reinstate Rafik Halliche to their squad.
Halliche was lined up to move from Fulham to recently-promoted Swansea, but the switch was denied by FIFA after delays in processing the transfer.
The Cottagers only registered 23 players out of an allowed 25, and they have now contacted the Premier League to request the Algerian international’s addition to their squad.
The application will depend on the outcome of an appeal from Swansea.
