Joachim Low to stay on as Germany coach

Joachim Low confirms that he will stay on as Germany's coach until after Euro 2016.

Joachim Low has confirmed that he will remain as Germany's coach until after the 2016 European Championships.

The 54-year-old, who has been in charge since 2006, recently guided the team to glory at the World Cup in Brazil.

While there had been some concern over his future with Die Mannschaft, Low will remain at the helm for at least another two years.

"At the moment I can think of nothing better than to continue working with this team to lead them to the European Championship in France," he told the German Football Association's official website. "I am as motivated as the first day [I was in the job]."

Germany's victory at the World Cup was the country's fourth triumph overall in the tournament.
