Germany coach Joachim Low is considering using a 'false nine' formation against Kazakhstan, with only one genuine centre-forward in his squad.
Low said that he has been toying with the idea for a while and is likely to try it out in the World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan on Friday evening.
"I've been considering the idea for a while," Low told reporters.
"The idea is to have different players go up front [during a game], who of course have to look to finish and be threats in front of goal."
Germany are currently top of Group C with 10 points from a possible 12.
