Lucas Alcaraz pleased with point

Granada coach Lucas Alcaraz praises his side following last night's 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad.

Granada coach Lucas Alcaraz has praised his side following last night's 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad.

Odion Ighalo netted a last-minute equaliser for the away team, with the result leaving El Grana in 15th position in the table, three points clear of the relegation zone with two games to play.

"A point could be fundamental for us," he told reporters at a press conference.

"We overcame the blow of conceding late on, and our heads could have gone down at that point.

"But with faith and determination, we got back into the match, and earned a point that I thought was completely earned."

Granada have won 11 of their 36 league games this season.
