Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has named an entirely new XI for this evening's visit to Hartlepool United in the second round of the League Cup.

The Cherries picked up their first win of the season on Saturday when they beat West Ham United 4-3, but Howe has rung the changes for the trip to Victoria Park.

There are starts for summer signings Christian Atsu, Sylvain Distin and Tyrone Mings, whilst Yann Kermogant is preferred ahead of Callum Wilson, who netted a hat-trick against the Hammers last week.

Meanwhile, Hartlepool have made two changes to their side, with Ronnie Moore bringing in Andrew Boyce and Rhys Oates, who is given his first start since joining from Barnsley in the summer.
