Nikica Jelavic returns for Hull City against Sunderland in the Premier League.

Nikica Jelavic has returned to the Hull City starting lineup for tonight's Premier League clash at home to Southampton.

The striker missed his side's 1-0 defeat to Stoke City at the weekend with a knee problem.

Maynor Figueroa, Sone Aluko and Gaston Ramirez are the three players who drop to the bench.

Meanwhile, Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has made four changes following the Black Cats' 2-0 defeat at Manchester United as Santiago Vergini, Liam Bridcutt, Jack Rodwell and Danny Graham are all recalled.

Hull: McGregor; Bruce, Dawson, McShane, Robertson; Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Elmohamady; Jelavic, N'Doye
Subs: Harper, Figueroa, Davies, Hernandez, Aluko, Ramirez, Quinn

Sunderland: Pantilimon; Reveilere, Vergini, Brown, O'Shea; Cattermole, Bridcutt, Rodwell, Larsson; Defoe, Graham
