Hatem Ben Arfa to remain at Nice

Hatem Ben Arfa's five-year stay in the Premier League comes to an end, as Nice reveal that he will officially join the club this summer.

Nice have confirmed that midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has turned down offers from elsewhere to remain at the club beyond this summer.

The 28-year-old saw a move to the French outfit break down in January as a result of an administrative error, due to the fact that he had already played for two clubs earlier in the season.

Ben Arfa's future has remained in limbo ever since, but it has now been revealed that he will officially make a return to his homeland following five seasons away in the Premier League.

"Hatem Ben Arfa gave us his word," Nice president Jean-Pierre Riviere is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He has had offers but he's stuck to his agreements."

Thirteen-time capped France international Ben Arfa has previously won five Ligue 1 titles.
