Antonio Cassano out for the season?

A hamstring injury could potentially rule Inter Milan striker Antonio Cassano out for the rest of the season.

Inter Milan could be without Antonio Cassano for the remainder of the campaign.

The Italian striker picked up a hamstring injury during Sunday's 4-3 defeat to Atalanta.

Following a scan on the problem, it has been revealed that the 31-year-old has suffered a grade two tear of the muscle.

As a result of that news, a short statement on the club's official website said that Cassano would be out for "30-40 days".

He will now join fellow strikers Diego Milito and Rodrigo Palacio on the sidelines.
