Ipswich and Charlton fail to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes of their match this afternoon.

Nothing could separate Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic in the first half of their Championship match, as they go into the break locked at 0-0.

The hosts enjoyed the first chance of the match as Jason Scotland intercepted Lawrie Wilson's pass before crossing to Daryl Murphy, but his header was saved by Ben Hamer.

Charlton then hit the side netting through Leon Cort's header before a thunderous strike from Dale Stephens was kept out by Scott Loach.

Neither side could find the opening goal, however, as both sides look set to continue their winless streaks.
