Result: Ipswich 2-3 Reading
Goals in stoppage time from Alex Pearce and Noel Hunt snatch victory for Reading at Portman Road, consigning Ipswich to their fifth straight league defeat.

Ipswich have continued their slide down the Championship after conceding two goals in added time to hand Reading victory at Portman Road.

The Tractor Boys looked set to record their first win in five after Josh Carson restored their second-half lead before the late efforts from Alex Pearce and Noel Hunt.

Daryl Murphy headed in Grant Leadbitter's free kick to put the home side ahead before Kasper Gorkss equalised for the Royals with a similar effort fourteen minutes from time.

Carson's deflected effort restored Ipswich's lead three minutes later before Pearce's header from an Ian Harte corner seemed to have grabbed Reading a point.

Brian McDermott's team weren't finished however and Hunt snatched a remarkable victory with the strike from the edge of the area in the 93rd minute.

Paul Jewell's Ipswich, who were contesting at the top of the league not long ago, edge closer to the relegation places, falling to 18th while Reading rise a place to 14th.
