Ipswich Town recall Jack Marriott ahead of Colchester United move?

Jack Marriott returns to Ipswich Town from Woking, but he is now expected to join League One side Colchester United.

Ipswich Town have recalled Jack Marriott from his loan stint at Football Conference side Woking.

The striker recently agreed to remain at the Kingfield Stadium for the remainder of the campaign.

However, the Tractor Boys have confirmed that the 20-year-old has now returned to Portman Road, with a switch to League One side Colchester United on the cards, according to numerous reports.

Marriott would serve as a replacement for Freddie Sears, who left Colchester for Ipswich last week.
