Half-Time Report: Juventus in control against Lazio at Stadio Olimpico

An own goal from Santiago Gentiletti and a strike from Paulo Dybala hand Juventus a 2-0 lead at the break in their Serie A clash against Lazio.

Juventus have taken a 2-0 lead into the break in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

The visitors took the lead in the seventh minute when Lazio failed to clear a ball into the box, and Paulo Dybala's strike was turned into his own net by Santiago Gentiletti.

Kwadwo Asamoah had the opportunity to double Juve's lead through a bursting run into the box as he broke two challenges before shooting, but his effort slammed into the side-netting.

Massimiliano Allegri's men doubled their advantage through an impressive strike from Dybala in the 32nd minute when he controlled the ball before drilling his half-volley into the bottom corner from 25 yards out.

The home side attempted to push back into the match, but they were thwarted by resolute defending from Juventus to leave the visitors in command of the contest at half time.
