Barcelona B stage a comeback but narrowly lose to Las Palmas

Las Palmas beat Barcelona B 4-3 despite conceding three goals in the last 10 minutes.

Two strikes from Sergio Araujo have helped Las Palmas to beat Barcelona B 4-3 this evening.

Araujo got his team off to a flying start as he put them ahead after nine minutes, and it could have been worse for the visitors as he had a second ruled out four minutes later.

However, he found the net just before half time with an accurate finish from inside the box.

The hosts extended their advantage after the break through Jonathan Viera, before Asdrubal Fernandez scored a fourth late on.

Barcelona B did hit back in the last 10 minutes as Jean Marie Dongou netted what appeared to be a consolation, but Joan Angel Roman scored twice more to set up a nervy finish.

Las Palmas held on though and the visitors succumbed to a valiant defeat.
