News Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has hinted that manager Brian McDermott will be given a chance to prove himself at the club.
McDermott's future has come under scrutiny in recent weeks after a run of just one win in their last 11 matches has seen them plummet to 16th in the Championship table.
However, with the financial future of the club now secured and the off-field turmoil drawing to a close due to Cellino's takeover, the Italian businessman seemed willing to give McDermott a chance.
"I think he has to show he's a good manager. He's had a lot of problems with the team, with the property, with the market, but now we've solved that problem," Cellino told Sky Sports News.
Cellino also owns Serie A side Cagliari and sacked their manager Diego Lopez on Sunday due to a run of four defeats in their last five games.
