Sunderland have announced that they have recalled Connor Wickham from his loan spell with Leeds United.
The 20-year-old had been scheduled to remain at Elland Road until the end of the season, but the Premier League club have decided to end the loan agreement early.
Wickham will now be available for the Black Cats' match at Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
A statement on Sunderland's website read: "Striker Connor Wickham is to return to Sunderland after being recalled from his loan spell with Championship side Leeds United."
Wickham was loaned out to Sheffield Wednesday during the first half of the season.
