Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel: 'Everyone can see it's over'

Kasper Schmeichel thinks that he should have been credited with Leicester City's late equaliser last night.

Kasper Schmeichel has said that he should have been credited with Leicester City's late goal last night.

The Danish goalkeeper thought he had scored a late equaliser for the Championship leaders against Yeovil Town last night when his header bounced down off the underside of the crossbar.

Chris Wood bundled home the rebound to ensure there was no doubt, and today the striker was officially credited with the goal.

"What a shame," Schmeichel wrote on Twitter. "All can see it was over but at the end of the day as long as we got the goal. All that matters."

Leicester are now just three points clear of Burnley at the top of the table.
