Leicester City 'prepare £25m Steven N'Zonzi bid'

A report claims that Leicester City could make a £25m move for Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi in the last week of the transfer window.

Leicester City are reportedly considering a late swoop for Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi.

The Premier League champions lost key midfielder N'Golo Kante to Chelsea earlier this summer and it is understood that head coach Claudio Ranieri still wants to boost his squad in the final week of the transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, N'Zonzi has emerged as a leading transfer target for the Foxes, but they will have to pay in the region of £25m to activate the Frenchman's release clause.

N'Zonzi, 27, played in England between 2009 and 2015 for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City respectively, before making the move to Europa League holders Sevilla in the summer of 2015.
