Liverpool injury, suspension list and return dates for PSG: Five players walk tightrope

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Somehow leading 1-0 after a frenzied first leg, Liverpool hope to finish the job against Paris Saint-Germain when they host the Ligue 1 champions in Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg.

The Reds were indebted to Alisson Becker and Harvey Elliott at the Parc des Princes last week, as the former pulled off numerous top-class saves before Elliott came off the bench to net the only goal of the contest.

Alisson went from hero to zero as his blunder gifted Southampton the opening goal in Saturday's Premier League affair, but Arne Slot's men turned the tide in the second half to win 3-1 and move a step closer towards the title.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Luis Enrique's side, who thumped Rennes 4-1 in Saturday's French top-flight battle.

Possible return date: May 10 (vs. Arsenal)

Joe Gomez had only just recovered from one hamstring injury before sustaining another against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup, and it remains to be seen if the versatile defender can return for the final few weeks of the season.

Tyler Morton

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: Unknown

Tyler Morton was revealed to have sustained a shoulder injury in early February, and there is still no timeframe on the midfielder's comeback, but he is expected to return before the campaign is over.

LIVERPOOL SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this match, as teenager Amara Nallo is available again following his first-leg ban.

However, all of Elliott, Ibrahima Konate, Alexis Mac Allister, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson will miss the first leg of any potential quarter-final if they are cautioned on Tuesday night.
