Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that he is relishing the opportunity of managing the club in the Europa League final on Wednesday night.
Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers in October with the club struggling for results and goals, but the German has helped transform the Merseyside giants over the course of the last seven months.
There is already cause for optimism heading into next season but Klopp feels that his players can "achieve something great" with victory over Sevilla in Basel.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "When I came here there was big doubt about these players. Now they have the opportunity to achieve something great. Let's try it.
"I am sure these players are ready. I am really pleased for the boys and that I can be part of this moment with this team.
"I came here because I was really convinced about quality of these players. The experience is important. We will try everything to make it more than just an experience."
Liverpool will qualify for next season's Champions League should they emerge victorious against their Spanish opponents.
