Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino has claimed that Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze would fit in at Anfield.
The German World Cup winner has been linked with a switch to Merseyside to reunite with his former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp, who has been in charge of the Reds since October.
It has been reported that incoming Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti is willing to sell the 23-year-old, who has struggled to cement a spot in the first team this season.
Gotze's former club Dortmund are also believed to be interested, but Firmino, who played opposite the midfielder when he was at Hoffenheim, believes that Liverpool would be the perfect destination for the German.
"Gotze I still know well from my time in Germany, when I played with Hoffenheim against Borussia Dortmund and Bayern," Firmino told Bild.
"He has incredible qualities in attack. He would fit in well with us and will surely help us with his class also."
Meanwhile, Liverpool are preparing for tomorrow's Europa League final against Sevilla in Basel.
