Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani says he will listen to offers from other clubs if they come in.

Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has insisted that he is happy to stay at Anfield.

The 27-year-old has been the subject of speculation linking him with a move away from the Reds after his loan stint at Juventus last season.

Despite recent reports claiming interest from AC Milan, the Italian has maintained that he would be content continuing his career with the Premier League side.

"All I can say is that there has been a lot of talk," Aquilani told reporters. "I wasn't following the Italian media much over the summer, but whatever happens I am at a great club like Liverpool.

"I'd love to make my mark at Liverpool. The transfer market is open until August 31, so we'll see what happens.

"Obviously I would take the offer of a permanent move into consideration with Liverpool."

Reds boss Kenny Dalglish recently admitted that Aquilani is part of his plans for the upcoming season after impressing in the club's pre-season friendlies.
