Simon Mignolet: 'Too early for title talk'

Simon Mignolet believes that it is too early for Liverpool to be considered as Premier League title contenders.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has insisted that it is too early for the team to be considered as Premier League title contenders.

The Reds climbed up to second place in the table on Saturday thanks to a comfortable 4-1 win at home to West Ham United.

"It's far too early to look at the opposition in the league," the Belgian told the club's official website.

"There are still a lot of games to be played. We just have to do the things we need to do."

Liverpool continue their Premier League campaign next Sunday when they face Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
