Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes his side can build on the weekend's 5-0 demolition of Swansea City and end their league campaign on a high.
The Reds boss warned his players not to get carried away but insisted that he is optimistic about the season's run-in.
"I am an optimist, you have to be, but we'll not get too carried away," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.
"I've likened us to a marathon runner just getting ready for the finish line, ready to make our move, and then we trip ourselves up.
"That is something we have to change going forward for the remainder of the season and finish as strong as we can."
Steven Gerrard, Philippe Coutinho, Jose Enrique, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge were on target against Swansea as Liverpool moved up to seventh place in the Premier League.
