Sadio Mane grabbed a late equaliser as Southampton snatched a 1-1 draw at Liverpool to deny Jurgen Klopp his first victory as Reds manager.
The hosts looked on course to kick-start the Klopp era when Christian Benteke - who replaced Divock Origi at half time - planted a fabulous header into the net on 77 minutes.
However, Mane, who was sent off in the closing seconds with a second yellow card, bundled home a scrappy leveller with three minutes remaining to win a point for the Saints.

Goal
Simon Mignolet: Kept out Van Dijk's point-blank range header in the first half, but could not do much about the Saints' late equaliser. (6/10)
Defence
Nathaniel Clyne: Could have done more in the final third, but did not do much wrong in defence on his first meeting against his former club. (6/10)
Martin Skrtel: Struggled with the pace of Mane and the power of Pelle as the pair tormented him at times in the first half, but looked much better after the break. (6/10)
Mamadou Sakho: Arguably Liverpool's best player in the early days of Klopp's reign. The defender looked uncharacteristically shaky in the first period but, like Skrtel, looked a lot better in the second half. (6/10)
Alberto Moreno: Did okay defensively, but his final ball at the other end let him down time and time again. He ruined some brilliant counter-attacks. (4/10)
Midfield
James Milner: Industrious as ever and was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions in the first half, but he did concede the free kick which led to Southampton's equaliser. (6/10)
Lucas Leiva: Preferred to Joe Allen in the Reds' only change from the 1-1 draw with Rubin Kazan, and certainly vindicated Klopp's selection of him. (6/10)
Adam Lallana: Clasie more or less stalked him in both halves to negate the former Southampton man. Initially looked to be thriving under Klopp, but this was a step backwards. (5/10)
Philippe Coutinho: Still does not look the same player under Klopp as he was under Brendan Rodgers. Seems to be lacking a bit of confidence, although there were positive moments too, but they were few and far between. (5/10)
Emre Can: The German was everywhere for the first 20 minutes or so but he became less and less involved as the minutes ticked on. (5/10)
Attack
Divock Origi: Continues to look like an inadequate for Liverpool's primary hitmen as the game more or less passed him by for the third successive match under Klopp. Hauled off at half time. (4/10)
Substitutes
Christian Benteke: His half-time arrival seemed to give Liverpool a turbo charge and Stekelenburg could do little about his header, such was the quality of it. (8/10)
Roberto Firmino: Did not have much impact, but looked slightly more involved than Lallana. (5/10)

Maarten Stekelenburg: Virtually nothing to do in the first half and could get nowhere near Benteke's header. (6/10)
Defence
Cedric Soares: Produced some excellent interventions in defence, but did not really add anything going forward. (6/10)
Jose Fonte: Did not allow Origi a sniff at goal in the first half, but struggled with the bigger, stronger Benteke as the Belgian got the run on him to head home the opener. (6/10)
Virgil van Dijk: Excellent defensively, but the big Dutchman could and should have opened the scoring in the first half when he fluffed a point-blank header. (6/10)
Ryan Bertrand: Did precious little wrong or right. (6/10)
Midfield
Jordy Clasie: Clasie by name, the Dutchman lived up to his surname with an excellent performance on the right-hand side of midfield, shackling Lallana brilliantly and adding something to the Saints' attack. (7/10)
Victor Wanyama: Superb from the Kenyan, who foiled plenty of attacks and often used the ball brilliantly immediately. (7/10)
Steven Davis: Distributed the ball well but did precious little right beyond that. (5/10)
Dusan Tadic: Contributed little by way of attack, often hindering Southampton in the final third, and shirked his defensive duties at times. Hauled off on 65 minutes. (4/10)
Sadio Mane: Was much better in the first half but the jet-heeled forward was unable to exert the same influence after the half-time break. (6/10)

Graziano Pelle: Not many can beat Skrtel in a physical battle but the big Italian bullied him at times, though he lacked a cutting edge beyond that. (5/10)
