Preview: Stoke City vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole previews the Premier League encounter between Stoke City and Liverpool.

Stoke City host Liverpool on Sunday hoping to continue their impressive run of just one home defeat in 10 Premier League matches.

That run has also included five draws, but manager Mark Hughes will be aware of the importance of winning points at the Britannia Stadium after picking up just a win and two draws on the road.

Hughes is without the ineligible Oussama Assaidi, while Jack Butland will continue between the posts for the Potters.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers should have Daniel Sturridge available for selection after his recovery from an ankle injury.

However, Daniel Agger is missing with a calf problem as Liverpool look to keep pace with the top three teams in the Premier League table.
