Mario Balotelli agrees to take pay cut to join Liverpool?

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli reportedly agrees to take a 50% pay cut in order to complete his move to Liverpool.

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has reportedly agreed to take a 50% pay cut in order to complete his move to Liverpool.

The Italy international has been at the club's Melwood training ground undergoing a medical this evening, which is expected to be concluded tomorrow.

According to The Guardian, the 24-year-old has accepted a reduced salary to return to the Premier League, but the move will only be completed if Brendan Rodgers is convinced that the striker can develop at the club.

It is reported that Liverpool have agreed a £16m fee with the Serie A side for Balotelli.
