Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has reportedly expressed an interest in signing Liverpool midfielder Joao Teixeira.
The 23-year-old is due to become a free agent at the end of the season when his contract at Anfield expires.
However, The Sun claims that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen for the 23-year-old to agree to fresh terms, before leaving the club on a loan basis.
The report adds, though, that Wagner is planning to swoop should Teixeira fail to reach an agreement with the Merseysiders.
Teixeira has made six appearances in all competitions this term, from which he has scored one goal.
