Huddersfield Town have announced that goalkeeper Joe Murphy has agreed a new contract with the Championship club.
Under the 34-year-old's previous terms, he was due to become a free agent at the end of the season.
However, Murphy has now committed himself to the John Smith's Stadium until the summer of 2017.
"Joe is not only an excellent, experienced goalkeeper, but he is a great character as well," manager David Wagner told the club's official website.
"Before we extended his contract we spoke about my expectation for his important role on the pitch and in the dressing room. I am very happy that he will stay for next season."
The two-capped Republic of Ireland international joined the Terriers from Coventry City in 2014.
