A trio of Premier League clubs have sent scouts to watch Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the early weeks of the season, according to a report.
The Serbia international has attracted interest from a number of European heavyweights in the past, including Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Lazio won their battle to keep hold of the 23-year-old during the summer, but The Mirror suggests that their task could be made even more difficult as a bidding war may ensue in the New Year.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all said to have been present at the Stadio Olimpico last week for Lazio's 4-1 win over Genoa.
Milinkovic-Savic was on the scoresheet that afternoon, but that remains his only goal in seven outings for the Serie A side this term.
