Liverpool have reportedly joined the race for Villarreal's highly-rated striker Luciano Vietto.
The 21-year-old joined the Yellow Submarine from Racing Club in the summer and has netted 12 times in 23 games for the Spanish club this season.
The Argentine's progress has not gone unnoticed, with Real Madrid said to be firmly interested in the youngster.
However, according to The Mirror, Liverpool have also expressed their interest in the attacker, who has been compared to Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.
Vietto recently revealed that he was "very happy" with life at Villarreal.
