Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers targets further signings

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says that he is still looking to bring in new players before the transfer window closes.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has stated that he is looking to make more additions to his squad this summer.

The Merseyside outfit have signed seven players during the transfer window, including Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Emre Can and Dejan Lovren.

However, Rodgers says that his transfer business is not concluded yet.

"We've got a few that we maybe want to bring in," he told Sky Sports News.

"We'll see, we know the areas that have been a target for us over a number of months, so hopefully we can close them out and the squad will be ready to challenge on every front this season."

The Reds have reportedly agreed a fee with Sevilla for defender Alberto Moreno.
