Luton Town and Shrewsbury Town have played out a goalless draw in this evening's League Two clash at Kenilworth Road.
The hosts had a lively start to the game as Jake Howells struck the opposition post as early as the third minute, but Andy Drury couldn't get to the rebound.
A few minutes later, Jayden Stockley chested down a Luke Rooney ball from the right before firing over the bar from the edge of the box.
Luton kept threatening and came close to opening the scoring in the 19th minute when Drury and Scott Griffiths were denied by Jayson Leutwiler in quick succession.
Just before the hour, the visitors caused a scare in the Hatters box when James Collins whipped a cross from the left that floated towards goal and forced a last-ditch save by Mark Tyler.
Shrewsbury then found themselves down to 10 men when Nathaniel Knight-Percival received a second yellow card for a challenge on Jonathan Smith.
Both sides continued to press for a goal in the latter stages, but neither could break the deadlock come the final whistle.
